About

Baby Fashion is an independent guide to dressing babies and toddlers. It covers clothing sizes, fabrics, washing and care, seasonal dressing, outfits for special occasions, and the history of baby clothing.

Our approach

We aim to be neutral and practical. We explain how things work, compare options fairly and cite official sources where safety is involved. We don’t sell products, and our articles contain no store or affiliate links.

Safety and health

Baby Fashion is not a medical site, and nothing here is medical advice. Where clothing touches on safety, such as sleepwear, car seats, small parts and drawstrings, we link to official guidance, including NIH Safe to Sleep, the American Academy of Pediatrics safe sleep guidance, and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). For questions about your baby’s health, skin or sleep, please talk to your pediatrician or health visitor.

Images

We use freely licensed images, mostly from Wikimedia Commons, and credit each one in its caption with the author, license and a link to the source. When we can’t find a suitable, accurately licensed image, we publish an article without one rather than use something off-topic. We don’t use photos of counterfeit or knockoff products.
